A TOP DOC IN YOUR BACKYARD

June 2008 (TEMPE, AZ)…Nationally renowned dermatologist, Toni C. Stockton, M.D., F.A.A.D., is proud to announce her third appearance on the 14th annual Top Docs List by Phoenix Magazine.  Phoenix “Top Docs” are selected through a peer-review survey.  The theory is that medical professionals are best qualified to judge medical professionals.  We HAVE 3 Top Docs located in the same facility.

To select the doctors, PHOENIX MAGAZINE randomly surveys 5,000 Valley physicians, including both MD’s (medical doctors) and DO’s (osteopathic doctors).  The survey asks the doctors to nominate those doctors who, in their judgment, are the best in their field and related fields. Once the list of Top Doctors is compiled, PHOENIX magazine’s fact-checkers verify the doctors’ names, addresses, phone numbers and specialties.  In addition, each name is checked against the state’s medical boards to determine whether the doctor has been convicted of malpractice or has faced other disciplinary actions.  Those that have are removed from the list.

Toni C. Stockton, M.D., F.A.A.D. is the medical director of Stockton Dermatology, her private practice.  She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She is a member of numerous professional associations including a Fellow and Diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology; American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery; American Medical Association; National Medical Association; Board Member for the American Academy of Medical Aesthetics; Board Member for Black Board of Directors; and Advisor to Black Internet Health Page.
