The XTRAC™ Excimer laser made by PhotoMedex provides an advanced way to treat psoriasis and vitiligo. The technology uses an intense beam of focused 308 nm laser light that treats the skin quickly and effectively while providing long-lasting results. Psoriasis patients typically experience skin clearing in less than 10 treatments. For vitiligo patients, XTRAC delivers the necessary doses needed to help stimulate skin melanocytes without exposing healthy skin. Medicare and most private insurance plans cover the procedure.
